Day two and the one word would be stuffup! LOL
I got a zero in each round unknown and known! The unknown I flew a bit far out and under rotated on a spin, which threw downline the wrong way, exit upright when I should have been inverted!! Also I wrote the a schedule to wind correct out, probably should have come in, would have presented better! My scores weren’t terrible but when you get a zero it screws things up!
My known was going well until I dumb thumbed on my 1/2 Cuban 8 exit, it’s a 6 of 8, opp 1 1/4 pos snap, for some reason between my brain and my sticks I did a neg snap!! A school boy error at this level!! So overall today has been a challenge mentally! Silly mistakes at this level cost you, the other competitors just don’t make mistakes, the schedules are almost perfection! So what I’ll learn from today is,
1) practise more unknown patterns
2) work on my concentration whilst under pressure!
Although the scores were rubbish I can take a lot from it, always look at the positives! I got a 730 norm in unknown and a 790 in my known (I think)? Tomorrow is a new day and all that!!
Troy did well in the advanced winning both rounds and moving up to 2nd!!
Mark L is still leading invitational!! QQ had an engine failure in his known, much to gasps of the crowd!

(sorry about the long wait on an update, I had problems with my Internet connection! Plus I was crying myself to sleep so couldn’t post!! LOL)
